New-look DD News channel focusing on 'balanced coverage': DG

Viewers who followed the coverage of Assembly poll results today on Doordarshan News got a feel of the new-look channel with upgraded content and design -- a result of efforts by the public broadcaster to revamp itself in line with the contemporary trends. 

According to DD News Director General Archana Dutta, the channel is trying to provide richer content and better presentation along with "good" analysis.
