Applications are invited in the Annexed pro-forma for filling up of one post of Project Director, Audio Visual, Archives in Scale of Pay - PB 4, Grade Pay Rs. 8700 in Prasar Bharati on deputation or from open market/ Search mode on Contract basis, as per following details:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will be the Operational Head of the Prasar Bharati (DD and AIR) Audio-Visual Archive Division. He / she will be
responsible for:

• Devising policy on fast-tracking consolidation, preservation and safekeeping (archiving) of content of Doordarshan and All India Radio, and supervising its implementation,
  
• Identifying appropriate technologies and the updating of knowledge base, to keep abreast of global practices and systems in the domain,
• Co-ordinating with personnel of the countrywide All India Radio & Doordarshan Archives set-ups at field stations, as leader,
• Planning and organising training modules on archiving and refresher courses for station or Kendra level officials and AV archivists.
