Imphal, March 15 2014 : A one day media workshop stressed on the role of Public Broadcaster in elections, with reference to the 16th Lok Sabha elections was held at Manipur Press Club today.
The workshop was jointly organised by Regional News Unit (RNU), All India Radio (AIR), Imphal and office of the Chief Election Officer (CEO), Manipur.
CEO, Manipur, O.Nabakishore, M.KananKumar, head of the station, AIR, Imphal and BB Sharma, retired joint director, AIR attended the inaugural function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
