Two finalists from Kerala - Mahadevan S (Carnatic vocal) and R B Ramjay (mridangam) - have been selected for 'Naad Bhed', the classical music reality show that is being conducted jointly by Spic Macay and Doordarshan. The finals being held in Mumbai are being aired on Doordarshan from November 12 to 23, at 7.15 pm.
The initiative is to promote and popularise Indian classical music all over the country.
The two finalists from Kerala were selected in the semi-finals held in Chennai. Twelve participants were selected for the semi-finals based on the quarter-finals conducted in Kerala in the third week of October 2013.
