Imphal, October 28 2013: Starting from tomorrow, a three-day long Bharat Nirman Public Information campaign on the flagship programmes of the Central Government is set to be kicked off at Koshang Memorial Hall, Khangshim village in Chandel district.
To be sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, New Delhi, the event would be organised by Press Information Bureau (PIB) in collaboration with All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan Kendra (DDK), Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP), Song and Drama Division and Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) as well as district administration of Chandel, different Government departments.
Addressing a press conference in this regard at Khangshim village today, Media and Communication Officer of PIB Imphal Premlata Loitam informed that Lok Sabha MP Thangso Baite would inaugurate the campaign as Chief Guest.
