Popular 1986 drama series Buniyaad is all set be aired on Doordarshan again. Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy who directed it, has got his fingers crossed about this relaunch. He is hoping that today's generation accepts it like it's audience did it before. The cast of the series present at the relaunch credit the serial for giving them the identity they hold today in the industry. So much so that they have compared this series to big screen's epic films Mughal-e-Azam and Sholay.
