Apprehensions are being expressed by some of the employees of Prasar Bharati that the direct recruits who would be appointed would gain seniority over the promotees as per general instructions on seniority issued by DOP&T. They also feel that in view of acute stagnation in various cadres, especially, PEX Cadre (as a large number of TREXs are stagnating due to non-availability of vacancies), direct recruitment need to be avoided.
