Sam Pitroda, a policy wonk and adviser to the Prime Minister on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations, surprised Prasar Bharati honchos with his candour.
Asked whether there was a chance that the report of the expert committee on Prasar Bharati would gather dust, he replied, "It's very much possible."

Pitroda, who heads the expert committee, has seen an earlier report by him - on the modernisation of Indian Railways - being ignored.
"I don't know. It may very much happen," he said in a matter-of-fact tone.
He then tried to retrieve the situation saying he was an eternal optimist.
